Dear 4th grade teachers,
I wasn’t dysfunctional I was nine, thanks for forgetting. I couldn’t spell “soldier” because I spent all of third grade trying to do 100 multiplication problems in one minute and writing in cursive (something that I would never use again). Thanks for making me cry and stress out and make me feel like something was wrong with me to the point where I was afraid to tell my mom.

Thanks for pretty much being a twin of my 3rd grade teacher. I think you would have been good friends. Thanks for throwing away my homework and pretending like you never got it. Thanks for making me cry and making my life miserable
Dear 5th grade Social Studies/ Math teacher,
Thank you for being awesome. Thank you for giving me the best year of my entire life, thank you for talking to me when I should have been doing work, thank you for getting me to do my homework, and thank you for being my friend. Mostly, thank you for sitting me next to Nicole without you she would never have been my friend even six years later. The Fearsome Foursome is still alive and well, even though we lost one person. I will always remember you, even when I’m 80. I had the best times of my life in that cool classroom of yours and I’ll never forget it.
